Celebrating Our 25,000th Volunteer!

As we mark the milestone of 25,000 volunteers over 25 years, we’re requesting your help in honoring the significant personal contributions our teams offer to host communities worldwide.  In gratitude for more than 50,000 weeks of English instruction, child care, medical assistance, labor work and so much more contributed by our chain of volunteers, we’re looking to promote volunteers who exemplify the Global Volunteers’ “Spirit of Service.”

We’ll feature those exemplary volunteers at our Anniversary Gala on December 11  — in person or on video –  to tell their story of the joy of serving abroad and waging peace through service. They’ll share insights on program experiences and reach out to other prospective volunteers on Global Volunteers’ web site, in media interviews and through promotional materials.
